    Is everything you sell sweatshop and cruelty free?

    As a small vegan company, owned and operated by a vegan couple, the ethical treatment of all Earthlings is at the very top of our list of priorities. We spend a considerable amount of time and energy researching and sourcing the high quality, ethically produced items that we choose to include in our product range. So you can rest assured knowing that everything we have available for you to purchase from The Groovy Vegan is both sweatshop and cruelty free!

        Will you keep my personal information secure?

        Definitely! We do not store or keep any credit card information, and we will certainly not sell or distribute your personal information to anyone else.

          We are a small family-run business based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

            Questions About Our Products

            Where are your products manufactured?

            The vast majority of the products we sell are made right here in this gorgeous country we call home, Canada. We currently carry only one product that is made outside of Canada, and that is our insulated water bottle. The company we work with for the bottles is based out of Washington in the United States. The printing is done domestically and the factories where the bottles are manufactured are located in China. Their factories are both ISO 9001 and 12001 compliant for environmental and labour practices, and they also have company representatives visit their factories regularly.

              How do I know which size to order?

              You can find a size chart conveniently located on each individual product page that can help you determine which size will fit you best based on your measurements. If you require any additional assistance, please feel free to send us an email and we'll try to help out as best we can.

              Questions About Shipping and Ordering

              What payment methods do you accept?

              We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and we also accept payments via PayPal.

              How much is shipping?

              • Shipping to anywhere in Canada is a flat rate of $10.00 CAD. Shipping is free to anywhere in Canada on orders over $50.00 CAD.
              • Shipping to anywhere in the United States is a flat rate of $12.00 CAD (approx. $10.00 USD). Shipping is free to anywhere in the United States on orders over $50.00 CAD (approx. $40.00 USD).
              • Shipping internationally is a flat rate of $25.00 CAD (approx. $20.00 USD). We are currently not able to offer a free shipping option on international orders.

              Do you ship internationally?

              Yes, we ship our products Worldwide!

              Will I have to pay duties and taxes on top of my order?

              Some countries we ship to may have certain state or provincial taxes, customs, duties or other fees that are applicable to products shipped from outside that country. These are most commonly charged at the point of delivery, and you are liable for the payment of any additional taxes, customs, duties or other fees that may be incurred. The Groovy Vegan does not have any control over these costs and we are not able to provide advice regarding what these costs may be, as they can vary.

                What shipping service do you use?

                • For orders shipped within Canada, we use Canada Post.
                • For orders shipped to the United States and the rest of the world, we use the courier company DYK Post. They ship our packages via USPS.


                Questions About Returns and Exchanges

                What is your return/exchange policy?

                • Once you place an order, all items are considered to be final sale. With that being said, we also strive to offer excellent customer service and quality control, because we truly want you to have an awesome experience with The Groovy Vegan. If the items you receive happen to be inconsistent with what you ordered or, in the rare occurrence that any of the items you receive are defective, we will exchange those for you.
                • We ask that you please ensure you are choosing the correct size when placing an order, as there are size charts located on each product page. However, should any of the clothing you ordered not fit as you hoped, we will happily exchange those items for a new size only. 
                • All exchanges must be received within 30 days of the date your order was delivered. If you are located internationally, we will extend that to 45 days. All items must be in their original condition with all tags attached.
                • Other than these exceptions, we do not offer returns or refunds on any items ordered.

                  Who pays the cost for return shipping?

                  We are a small one-man, one-woman operation, and although we wish that we could pay for all return shipping, it's simply not in our budget at this time. Having said that, if you require an exchange as a result of our having sent you incorrect or defective items, we will reimburse you the cost of return shipping. If you would like to exchange your items for a different size, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. If you are shipping items with a value over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned items.
